The playing surface is made from 4 mm thick special Mango Plywood that has been polished for a smooth low friction and hard-wearing finish, providing a premium playing experience. The Board also has 2" (approx. 5cm) Kikar Wood edges with rosewood detail corners for good purchase and rebound. Kikar wood, a dense hardwood, is used to give a good level of rebound.
Weighing 7 KG, the back of the board is reinforced to ensure the boards rigidity and to prevent warping, adding to the overall durability and quality of the product.
